Music
In addition to live music at bars and nightclubs, you will find a year-round calendar of quality musical performances organized by the Breckenridge Music Festival. The BMF produces a diverse program of events including a winter performance series, classical orchestral music, chamber music in intimate venues, touring artists and educational programs.
The National Repertory Orchestra offers solo performances from visiting artists as well as special themed events such as their Musicology and Mixology ‘tastes and topics’ evening.
Film
The Breckenridge Festival of Film celebrates the art of filmmaking with an annual festival held in September. It is one of the oldest and most respected film festivals in North America and has played host to a long list of fine actors. The festival includes premiers of independent films, receptions, educational programming and honored guests.
Art
Numerous art galleries can be found throughout Breckenridge, featuring local artists who craft a wide range of artistic styles.
Mountain Art Festivals, a collective of three outdoor art shows, displays original works of art by participating artists. These festivals offer you the change to meet the artists and even commission a special piece. This summer series is considered to be among the best art shows in the country.
The Breckenridge Arts District is comprised of an array of cultural institutions in downtown Breckenridge, including a theater, ceramics studio, and performing arts center. Year-round offerings include live music, visual arts, film screenings, and hands-on educational opportunities.
The Summit County Arts Council manages a co-operative gallery featuring a standing collection of local artists as well as seasonal shows. Art walks and Meet the Artist events help support the mission of the Arts Council to promote and support fine arts in Summit County.
Nightlife
Downtown Breckenridge is a happening place after the sun sets. Bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee houses and night clubs open their doors to the après ski set every evening.
Shopping

Historic Breckenridge
Breckenridge is the largest historic district in Colorado, preserving and promoting their rich mining and mountain heritage. The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance on Main Street is a museum and resource center offering tours, events, and guides to the exciting history of this western mining town.
